The ban’s unraveling? Fantastic! ‘Might be some hope to save some freedoms after all. Wouldn’t that be special?
What are the odds Rendell’s only blowing smoke?
Freedom to smoke in your own house is one thing…when it infringes on me then it’s not a right anymore. Do you feel the same way about marijuana? Probably not…
How does it infringe on you? If I own a resturant I should be able to decide how I conduct my business. I am responsible for the decisions I make. If I choose to allow smoking in my resturant and my business fails because no one come in then thats my fault. If my business thrives then thats my success. No one is forcing you to enter my resturant. If you dont want to be around smoke dont come in my establishment. If you are working at another resturant and I purchase it and choose to allow smoking on my property and you are bothered by it quit and find another job. This isnt rocket science.
I actually don’t necessarily disagree with you on that…but as an absolute freedom in a public place I do have an issue with it.
Okay we have found some common ground on this issue. In the municipality that I serve I have voted in favor of a ban on all municipal property inside and outside and in any municipal vehicle. I have absolutely no problem with a prohibition in that case.
