PAT symbolizes all that’s wrong with Allegheny County. It’s run by the big unions for their own benefit. What’s amazing is that any official has the courage to stand up for a million taxpayers against the couple of thousand overpaid PAT employees who prey upon them.
As usual, Democrats will let the few hurt the many, while saying “It’s for your their good.”

Does the drink tax apply to BYOB establishments? I really don’t know….but it just occured to me that if it’s not applied to cork fees, the tax probably subsidizes BYOB eateries………

Let’s get real…if the voters overturn the tax, Onorato would probably sue (using tax dollars) to get it re-instated. He has ample precedence from the state of California…

Afterall, “It’s for your own good.”

The odds of so called route C being chosen are almost nil. Routes A & B already have power lines and rights of way in place. Not so with C.

I have already spoken with PPL engineers about this, as the first tow routes come through our property and they all but agreed with me that it’s going this way. Thye can’t come out and say it but their body language did.
