What makes her think that the government has the legitimate authority to stop me from getting such an implant if I want one or has the same authority to make me get one if I don’t?
But when was the last time that the GA (in general, or the dems in particular) cared about the legitimate authority to act?

I wasn’t aware that this was a pressing issue for our time!
This will undoubtedly be followed in ten years by legislation REQUIRING surgical implants under the skin of certain members of the public by the GA (small children, the elderly, sexual predators, etc.) for our “protection” all to be administered by a new department filled with state rep’s relatives.
Pacemakers are routinely read, through the skin, via the telephone.
I would imagine, although I’m not certain, the data stream is preceeded by identifying information.
Would this bill require pacemaker patients to forgo the convenience of telephone monitoring? Require an external lead?
