We know one thing–if Barack Obama is elected President, I-80 will most certainly be tolled, and that will more than likely be the beginning of a major tolling program for the US Interstate Highway system. Clinton talked about it, a little bit, but didn’t have the political capital to take it very far. What with Obama’s voting strength being very much based in urban areas, with the attempt to demonize the automobile vis-a-vis Obama’s certain effort to try to ratify the Kyoto accord, and with the budget deficit sure to skyrocket given the declining economy and the decreased revenues that the IRS will receive because of Obama’s tax hikes, the tolling of I-80 will be a done deal albeit a truly minor story in his first six months in office.

Hey, look at it this way, after all or most of the US Interstate Highway system gets tolled during an Obama administration–at least Pennsylvania will be first in _something_ !!!!!! :-)

Without a doubt tolling I-80 will polarize the economy not just in Pennsylvania, but in every state eastward that would have to cross Pennsylvania. You will see every business relocating to areas that will not be affected by tolling which in this case will be westward from Pennsylvania.

If McCain wants to win Pennsylvania in a landslide, he needs to use Fast Eddie’s agenda against him by bringing this up. Simply bring up towns in the state like Erie that would be boxed in by tolled highways if I-80 gets tolled and mention how other cities would further decay into economic turmoil. For crying out loud Reading, PA is now considered equal to the Dominican Republic A 3RD WORLD COUNTRY!

My fear is that I see a point in my lifetime where it will take the citizenry to take arms and overthrow the government if Obama is elected. When you have kids in public schools singing songs worshiping Obama that compares to the singing by Hitler youth, and when you see teenagers and adults marching like soldiers worshiping and hailing Obama that mirror Nazis to a tee that was recently posted on drudge, then you can’t deny without a doubt that we are on the verge of a 21st century uprising of Nazi Germany right here in our own country. Thomas Jefferson could not be more correct when it would take bloodshed every other generation to preserve liberty.
