    McCain will win and be a pretty good President. My hope is that the pending global cooling crisis will be declared by Congress before his term expires. Toyota and Honda will start making Hummers once Sarah Palin breaks ground in the new wave of oil fields. Terrorists everywhere will blow themselves up signifying the end of the war. They’ll leave notes saying that their liberal counterparts in America have lost.
    Sarah Palin will be one of the best Vice Presidents in history. She represents everything that most are looking for in a politician. She will fight the corruption that’s EVERYWHERE to the death. Once people see this they’ll overlook her disdain for that procedure that dismembers children, crushes their skulls and shreds the remains through a tube. I can’t say what it is, but it rhymes with “shmashmortion”.
    Sniveling libs who loathe anything with integrity will self medicate on the largest scale ever before seen. This will energize big-pharma big-time and many diseases will be cured. There will still be no cure for Liberalism, but it’s devestating effects will be kept in check by a new breed of political candidates who actually honor the Oath of Office. Ed Rendell will eat 24 cheese steaks in a row in protest and Joey Vento will put on extra Whiz to ensure a more rapid clogging of the arteries (as a public service). He’ll then puke on David Cohen to cheers of the Verizon union leadership. He’ll then get pissed and choke out John Dougherty with his own arm.
    Business will be invited to Philly and crime will dramatically drop causing the new Police Chief to order his followers to mug citizens themselves. Mayor Nutter will have nothing to do, but he’ll make himself available as the new voice-over for Kermit the Frog.

    Or, in a much more likely scenario than ANY of your predictions:

    (1) McCain/Palin will lose the elction to Obama/Biden;
    (2) McCain/Palin will lose Pennsylvania to Obama/Biden;
    (3) The Democrats will increase their margin in the U.S. House of Representatives by at least 15 seats;
    (4) The Democrats will increase their margin in the U.S. Senate, and will have at least 55 seats (including Lieberman and Sanders, who will continue to caucus with the Democrats, and vote for Democratic leadership);
    (5) The Democrats will win at least 2 of 3 Pennsylvania row offices;
    (6) The Demmocrats will retain their majority in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, and increase the margin of their majority.

    If all of you “conservatives” are so confident that McCain/Palin or the GOP will hold their own this year, please feel free to bet me with respect to any of the 6 statements above.

    I don’t want to take your money, so we can play for idiocy. If I am wrong with respect to ANY of the statements above (whereby you would indicate I will be wrong), I will admit that I am an idiot and never post on GrassrootsPA again (under any name). But, if you are wrong and I am right on the statement(s) you select, you will admit that you are an idiot, and will never post on GrassrootsPA again.

    You only have to be correct on 1 of 6 statements, and I’m giving you your choice of any of the 6. Select the statement you believe is most foolish on my part, and prove me wrong on election day.

    In the end, not one of you know-it-all “conservatives,” who regularly predict that several of my statements are wrong, will have enough courage to bet me under those conditions. Rather than making bold predictions that I will be wrong with respect to one or more of my statements, you “conservatives” will make dozens of excuses as to why you won’t bet. Then, on Wednesday, November 5 (and after), I tune-in to read the plethora of excuses (liberal conspiracies, Republicans not conservative enough, etc.) as to why ever one of my six statements turned out to be correct on election day.

    And I will be correct again, just as I was with respect to the whacko lawsuit alleging Obama violates the Natural Born Citizen Clause, filed by Phil Berg, being thrown out of court (read: “laughed out of court”) due to lack of standing (and by a conservative judge — try comparing your background to Judge Surrick’s background before accusing him of being a liberal and not knowing anything about the law). For as little as you know about the law, you know equally little about politics.

    I hope you “conservatives” learn to have fun losing on November 4. I will enjoy laughing and giving you the “I told you so….” It will be just the beginning.

    The difference is that no one cares if you post on GRPA again…

    We come here for community. You come here just to be an arrogant coward.

    You forgot another reason we’re not interested in this vote, Rich. No one actually believes that Stallone Ranger would actually keep his side of the bargain. He’d just retire that name and come back under a new alias. Reminds me of the tail of the frog and the scorpion.

    Whoops, I meant “in this bet.”
