Did Rooney know he was backing a socialist or did he just not care? How can someone in business be either so nieve or just plain ignorant of the facts about this man? He’s one of “the rich” so open your wallet Rooney.

I’m sure it was based totally on selfish survival.

The Rooneys could very well lose ownership of the Steelers under Obama’s tax plans. Rooney saw the writing on the wall, so he publicly backed Obama.

He’s hoping to call in the favor when it’s time for the sale…perhaps in the form of a retroactive tax break or some “sports team sale” exemption.

I say to hell with the Steelers and scum like the Rooneys. I know I have just attacked the beloved ones. They are feeding at our trough and I am tired of it. They do not deserve any respect any more. People like the Rooneys have forgotten the great line from JFK—- “Ask not what your country can do for you, instead ask what you can do for your country.” So again I think they deserve to lloose the Steelers. Can’t stand these elitists that live by sucking off the little guy.

I would bet that most Pittsburgh area Obama voters know more about Big Ben’s shoulder than they know about Obama…

    And we all know far more about Ben’s medical records than we know about Obama’s…and Ben’s hometown…and Ben’s school history…and Ben’s associations…and Ben’s on-job performance…

I’m still glad I didn’t vote for either McCain or Obama
