This guy (the Guv) is on his last legs in office… why is the media so afraid of (or in love with) him??? He mis-uses $35 million to help out a big campaign contributor for a business with no congnizable business model; he throws millions of dollars at his old law firm (current law firm for many of his cronies) in no-bid contracts; he imposes a hiring/pay freeze on all state employees under his jurisdiction; now this. The media responds by soft-pedalling this nonsense.

I like Danny, but hell, if he was such an invaluable asset why didn't the people of Elk County re-elect him?

Rendell just spit in the face of every stateworker affected by his pay/hiring freeze. He has no respect for them… or for you, for that matter.

One can only hope that the long term memory of Pennsylvania voters don't forget all the lies, corruption, taxes and sleight of hand deals like the casino money this snake has been doing for two terms. The Party that nominated him isn't going to run Mother Teresa for governor next election, though very likely she will cast a Democrat vote in Philadelphia.
Whether it be Pat Toomey as I support or Tom Corbett whom I will support if he beats Pat, we need to elect a Conservative to get the finances of the Commonwealth back in line. Maybe we can work on becoming a Right To Work state.

Appropriate that recycle an out of work legislator to run the "Department of Conservation and Natural Resources". Just another way to promote recycling.

Rendell keeps pulling this crap because he knows he can.
In a month or two, we'll see some BIG news about a poll where we want taxes raised and Rendell has a pretty decent approval rating. What the HELL is UP with that?

Where's Corbett with the rest of the Bonusgate convictions? We're starting to wonder if he's dedicated to his job or to the governor's spot which he covets.

Don't blame Rendell or anyone else in government. The only reason things like this go on is because "We the People" put up with it. This type thing will continue until the people march on Harrisburg /Washington and physically remove these abusers of office. Voting no longer works, this is beyond voting. If those in office refuse to repect us, we should teach them to fear us.

The DCNR should be abolished, not grown. Ugh.

Dan Surra commented late last year that it's a tough time to find a job. Guess it helps to know someone.
