29TH SENATE SEAT SPECIAL UPDATE:
GrassrootsPA has learned that a group purporting to be Chris Hobbes supporters from Pottsville is making calls in the Tamaqua area urging GOP voters to write-in Hobbes.
Chris Hobbes is the son-in-law of the late State Senator Jim Rhoades, who died tragically in an October car crash. In December Rep. David Argall won the GOP nomination for the Senate seat over Hobbes after 5 rounds of extremely close balloting.
The 29th Senate Seat special election between Argall (R) and Schuylkill County Clerk of Courts Stephen Lukach (D) is Tuesday…
NOTE: It is unclear if these calls are from Harrisburg Democrats trying to splinter the vote for Argall or Harrisburg Republicans trying to peel away Lukach’s support among Republicans. What is clear is that hyjinx is afoot.
