Good for you Mike. Stand your ground.

Kennedy, Reagan, and Bush (43) all cut taxes and revenues increased.

If cutting taxes makes Mike 'nuts', not knowing this basic concept of economics makes Rendell stupid or just plain malicious.

For Democrats, the overriding concern is to provide funding for friends. That funding can only come from those who have assets.

It comes as a never-ending surprise that they will tell lies, from Global Warming to Obesity Dangers to schools that they, themselves, have destroyed in order to justify what those who believe in private property properly believe to be theft.

We have to ask God to give leftists the grace to be repelled by spending their lives bearing false witness.

Rendell is just plain stupid. It's that simple. These are the clowns that endlessly promote government spending and more welfare for everyone because the economy is in the tank and nobody has any money to buy stuff. They seem to forget the no money part when it comes to funding all these programs that we apparently need. I don't know about you, but I have not received one red cent even though my income is going down and my taxes going up.

I don't care if Spendell thinks the benefit is only 20 bucks. That's 20 bucks more than I had before and 20 bucks he can't use to line his pal's pockets

Isn't this the same blowhard Governor who accused Folmer of being "certifiable"? Why doesn't somebody just call this fat slob out once and for all?

While tax cuts do spur economic growth and do eventually lead to increased tax revenues, the problem for state government is in the cash flow. As you know, the state must balance its budget. As such, cutting taxes will lead to additional revenue short-falls in the near term – something our constitution does not allow. The real goal should be to not raise taxes (first, do not harm) and cut spending to meet current revenues.

Yet a tax cut now, with corresponding spending cuts, would speed up and economic resurgence within the state. There's no reason the two could not happen at once.
