Joe The Plumber confronted Obama the way John McCain never could or would.
He deserves better than to be sniped at in the previous posts.
Joe the Plumber… that's right. Wasn't he the unlicensed guy claiming to be a plumber and milk the national spotlight? The same Joe the Plumber trying to cash in those 15 minutes with a book deal and serving as some sort of "reporter" on current affairs. I was hoping Joe would just go get his business license straightened out and go away.

There is a lot of uninformed and ignorant opinion posted both before and after your post.
Joe was simply a man at his home when he was approached by Obama. He dared to ask Obama a question that neither the media or McCain had the balls to ask and he was demonized for it.
He didn't milk anything, but because he resonated with us thinking people, he was called upon for appearances on various shows and now this campaign. If anything, the media was trying to capitalize on Joe.
BTW, within two days, we knew more about Joe and his past was investigated more than Obama's was. Joe's image and the reality are miles apart. Those posting negatively here are buying into the media's image.
They should be ashamed, but I doubt that they are.
Look how everyone who has dared to oppose Obama is savaged by his administration and the sycophantic media. And now, on conservative sites. The only good thing about these attacks here is that it reveals a lot about the poster.
Palin, Joe, Rick Santelli, Jim Kramer, and now this other guy on the NBC cable affiliate have all been bold enough to ask tough questions or criticize Obama. Rush was attacked, but has the power, resources and guts to fight back.
I would love to see the lives of Joe's critics probed by the media and see what the result would be. How would you like to be the target of a vengeful administration that has no regard for the Constitution nor the rights of citizens?
Keep one thing in mind. If this administration is after someone it's because they are a threat. We should be taking their side, not the administration's.
I'm old enough to remember when critical words about the government didn't get targeted by the government. Maybe ignorance is bliss.
You are absolutely right, Ray, and frankly I'd love to some investigation of so called journalists today. I bet that would reveal some interesting info. Also the negative posters here, aren't they supposed to be of the party of the "little people"? Yet, they are the ones, like most liberal/dems, always attacking the common person for questioning and standing up for our liberties and freedoms. Further, as was already stated, we know more about Joe than Barry H Obama. He won't even release his "original" birth certificate, his school records or his passport. Hmmmmmm! Makes one wonder.

I'll take Joe reporting over most of the so called journalists today that can't get past their own agendas. If he gets a book deal are you just jealous? If he should just go away should someone tell you the same thing? In case you haven't noticed they haven't, yet, revoked the First Amendment.
The smallest 'minority' is the individual yet the party of minorities attacks individualism with fervor and zest. It seems tht we have some of that same mindset here. Pity.

I think that is the real issue behind JTP. You see all the government resources that were illegally used in an attempt to destroy this man after he dissented with Obama mantra. This is a frightening insight into what is in store for the future of this country if Obama and the Dems are not neutered in 2010. It will be 1984 only 24+ years later.

I'd like to see more "joe the plumbers" running for office – but, as one can see from the wacko fringe in the previous posts – such candidate would be demeaned and villified just for being patriotic.
