Must be a really slow news day. Or was the point of the story to show that Murtha's goons are getting older? That's a pretty tame threat. Anyway, welcome to Johnstown politics Bill.
Does it really matter? Murtha and his cronies can say and do anything and he will get reelected. The only thing between Murtha and another victory is an indictment( if we could be so lucky). Save your time and money Mr. Russell.
No politician is immune from losing re-election; the question is whether the right candidate is there at the right time.
That said, Murtha should always have an opponent, if only to show that the Republican Party remains supportive of our troops and opposes loudmouthed buttheads who smear our military.
