Should be no suprise that Rendell has to spend money to convince people that he should be able to take more of their money.
What is suprising is the resolve that seems to have settled upon the Senate Republicans; they're actually saying "No" to Fast Eddie!
Sure, my cable bill of $40 a month is an insignificant amount, too… until you cobble it together as a yearly expense and now, we're talking about nearly $500. If faced with buying groceries for two months or being able to watch Law & Order in it's 4 glorious iterations (basically on 24/7 these days), working families will opt to drop the cable, wouldn't they??
These are basic kitchen table issues… no wonder Eddie don't get it.
