Hello Harrisburg. Bet you can find a lot of job duplication throughout the Commonwealth if you really try.
Yeah, but I don't envy the position those 60 people are in now. They didn't create the positions, most probably just applied for them and were hired for them minus the nepotism. Now they are the ones paying the price for some idiot creating frivilous job positions. And I'm sure the ones who created those positions are nowhere near having their job eliminated.
If Harrisburg is anything like Pittsburgh, these are connected people with pull and are untouchable when it comes to discipline unless their infraction is thermonuclear. Generations pay for the patronage jobs any family member gets.
If (LOL) there is bloat, the cuts need to be made. If you are not busy during your workday, then you ought to realize that you are dead wood and are likely to be cut. Rather than complain, they should just be thankful that they got paid for as long as they did.
