Doherty was clearly once pro-life.
What's the big deal, why doesn't he simply say he had a change of heart instead of denying it?
Doherty is up for re-election in November against former Scranton City Council President Gary DiBileo. Doherty has beaten him three times for mayor before in close elections. Doherty's pro-abortion position in prolife Scranton could cost him the mayor's job.
