Didn't he spend $15 million in 2004 when he was a powerful senior senator? Now that he is a nothing, will he be able to raise that kind of money? Does he still have the clout to make people fear him?

I thought he raised more then 2 million at Obama fundraiser? Did he have to return that many contributions back to people?

Toomey needs to keep on with his pace

Specter is done. Doesn't matter how much money he raises.

    Someone feared him? LOL

II should clarify that. He was not above using the power of his office to punish any who did not support him. They feared losing some government largess or that he would support their next opponent.

Keep in mind that we are talking about gutless, spineless, ballless politicians, not real people.

Perhaps he will use some of that largess to feed the children his fellow Democrat, Daylin Leach is so worried about.

Let's not lose track of the fact that Specter is polling badly in a commie-lib primary against a virtual no-name opponent. He needs to raise as much cash as possible because he needs to steam roll Sestak in order to keep his chances alive.
