Does he just not get it?

"Ultimately, Toomey said he would be a more cooperative Republican than most Democrats have been in Washington.

I think we need to be open minded and willing to work with anybody and I would be happy to work with Bob Casey,''

The last damned thing we need in Washington is more people to 'cooperate with the democrats'. What we need is people who will stand up and fight against the SOBs.

Some of the 'uncooperative' democrats don't think that proposals are radical enough and the rest are smart enough to realize that agreeing with the radical leftists in congress will cost them their jobs because we know that it will cost us both our liberty and lots of money that we don't have to fix 'problems' that don't exist..

Nice way to misconstrue the story, Ray.

Toomey's point was that he will work with anyone willing to advance his agenda, which presumes those on the other side of the aisle will want to advance Toomey's agenda with him. I do not expect Casey to work with Toomey to advance Toomey's agenda anymore than I expect Toomey to work to advance Casey's agenda.

    Wanna try again?

Spin it that way if you want but when read in conjunction with Toomey's other comments regarding Sotomayor, abortion, and other issues, I don't take it the same way you do.

The way that he has groveled to win the RINO support and has kissed up to the left, I wonder exactly what his agenda is. Does he just miss Washington?

Power + steady paycheck = RINO behavior.

Some people can't help themselves. I'm sure Toomey is saying it just to seem like he's a good guy, but I'm waiting for someone to say "The Dems are wrong! Everything they've been doing is unconstitutional! I'll fight them tooth and nail to restore America to its greatness!"

    Cajones.

That is what is missing except in Palin and Bachman. Sad that they have more than all the men combined.

I understand that Arlen Specter was in Lebanon County tonight.

Anyone know how that protest went? I heard Katy Abram got in and the Democrats ripped into her.
