This is amusing. But a little context and a look at others is in order.

Specter and Sestak are racing each other to the left for the primary.

Sestak's colleague in the House, Tim Holden, presents himself as a "conservative" Democrat, yet, according to the Washington Post, he votes with Pelosi and Co. 96.3% of the time without a liberal challenger driving him to the left.

    Conclusions? Anyone? Anyone?

I think that Obama is playing Specter to get his vote on crucial issues but when it gets closer to the election, he will shift his support to Sestak.

It's not that Obama shows any loyalty to anyone. He is focused on his agenda and his goal of destroying America. Specter will be just another person who has outlived his usefulness and will be tossed aside.

The vast majority of votes are procedural and are passed by voice vote. The real differentiation really comes in maybe 10 percent of the votes.

Call it what it is. Two lefties and so is Holden.

Agreed. Voice votes are unrecorded. Only contested and/or controversial procedural votes are taken by roll call when demanded by the minority. Holden tells voters that his percentage of votes with Pelosi includes procedural matters and that this rating is meaningless.

It is Holden's defense of his voting record that is meaningless.

As long as the wheels roll over him, it works for me.
