As usual, Bumsted is right on target.

"wild card" my rear end. she took a ton of money from Pileggi

I don't doubt that she received a donation from Pileggi, but I wasn't able to find a record of it. Do you know how much she got and when? Thanks!

You would rather have had Panella, Rendell’s choice?

I held my nose and voted for her, but I expect her to arrive on her first day of work with a wrecking crew in tow. I will watch her performance carefully over the next ten years and if she demonstrates any complicity in or tendency to ignore the plain meaning of our Constitution, I will actively advocate for her removal.

I'm sure we can come up with something equally as catchy as "Just say No to Newman and Nigro" for Orie-Melvin. May take some time, but we have ten years watch her performance and to think about it.

Of course not, but is it enough that Panella lost? If that's your definition of victory, that's a low standard and a very low hurdle.

The Pennsylvania judiciary is filthy. I expect her to bring in a cleaning crew armed with scrub buckets, plenty of bleach and live steam. I expect positive R-E-S-U-L-T-S.

Held my nose, too, but Rendell hasdestroyed so much of our state, our jobs….and he keeps on doing it. Results are what we need. Since cheering for tax increases…boldly cheering probed there’s no such thing as a blue dog Dem in Pa, that lap dogs are what they are, then this is the start of a smack-down of Rendell destruction.

Orie's first test will come very early, following the 2010 census, when little sister and Joe Scarnaughty gerrymander PA's political map. The plan will go to court, ultimately to the Supreme Court, when we find out how much integrity Ms. Melvin has.
