This should not happen but it does and it proves that political insiders pick candidates and shepherd them through primaries with no regard to the people.
I wonder if we ever elected a majority of conservatives to GOP State Committee would that even cause the executive leadership to be independent of this kind of game.
I hear Pink Floyd's "Money" is their theme song.
Listen to all the words sometime.
s to Pink Floyds' "Money"
Money, get away
Get a good job with more pay
And your O.K.
Money, it's a gas
Grab that cash with both hands
And make a stash
New car, caviar, four star daydream
Think I'll buy me a football team
Money get back
I'm all right Jack
Keep your hands off my stack
Money, it's a hit
Don't give me that
Do goody good bullshit
I'm in the hi-fidelity
First class traveling set
And I think I need a Lear jet
(Sax and guitar solos)
Money, it's a crime
Share it fairly
But don't take a slice of my pie
Money, so they say
Is the root of all evil
Today
But if you ask for a rise
It's no surprise that they're
Giving none away
Away
Away
Away
Away…
I've been a republican in PA my entire life. The people deserve better than this. How do you get rid of these people??
Scott Migli knows how the system works, he worked for the PA GOP. This is standard practice, it is on e last gasp for the Gerlach campaign. After Rohrer announce Gerlach moves to the "bronze" medal in the race.
I think you're wrong. Corbett is going down in a ball of flames with the guys he is investigating.
There are a lot of Republicans pissed at Corbett.
What ticks me off most is that Corbett is yet to offer ANY ideas to make the state better, yet the State GOP is ramming him down our throats. When did the GOP stop being the party of individualism?
Gerlach has at least had the decency to offer ideas to the electorate. We have a choice whether or not to support him based on those. Corbett is going along being the annointed candidate and expects us to support him based on that alone. That worked out really well in NY-23. Is he going to endorse the Democrat as well when the voters refuse to support his candidacy?
