What a joke. 7 mil from the state to pay signing bonuses. That pi$$e$ me off. Call a strike, get an extra $1250. Talk about rewarding bad behavior.
Nice to see they also got "fair" increases. This at a time when they should be lucky to have a job, or a job that hasn't cut pay and benefits. Rather, they get pay raises, plus more benefits.

The front page of today's Inky covers Septa's proposed 2010 far hike! What a disaster! SEPTA should have dismissed all of the striking workers and offered the jobs (with necessary training) to the 10.5% of the Philly region who are currently in the unemployment line.
