    Uhhh…did I miss the primary?

Corbett is just one person who is running as a Republican. The primary process will determine our nominee. The only way the primary process hurts him is if he is a flawed candidate.

He is flawed….meeting with perzel while investigating him, Tim Carson being investigated but serving on his host committee. C'mon people this guy is no different then those he is prosecuting.

Santorum lost by 18 points right? Corbett has the same campaign team, right?

Atleast Santorum had some charisma and energy. Corbett's about as exciting as a rock.

No Mike Fisher was as exciting as a rock, Corbet is at least a field of grain on a windy day.

RIch, I couldn't agree with you more. The best thing for our party is for all candidates to put up their ideas and allow voters to choose who they want to be the nominee. But unfortunately, like in years past, the party, i.e. Asher and Gleason, wants to put up their hand picked candidate. We all know how THAT turned out…

I can't stand Santorum, but your comment regarding his dead child is truly despicable and beneath this forum..

Guys, please be respectful. Smoke and Mirrors, I don't want to see stuff like that in here again.

Santorum also backed Specter. So, why should any sane, dog-loving person follow his idiocy? If I were Corbett, I'd denounce it.

I think Rick Santorum is ultimately loyal to the Republican Party and has a national plan to ingratiate himself with pro-family conservatives.

Corbett is supported by the Pro-Life Federation that supported Rick Santorum for years and so this comes as no surprise to me.

I don’t think Corbett is the most conservative candidate in this race for governor and I currently do not support him.

I confess, it did my heart good to see Perzel in cuffs, but I believe the indictments are politically timed and motivated. The latest round was red meat for the Democrats and honest conservatives. But for those of us who know the details of the Gingrich forgery case, we have to ask: Why hasn't TC charged Gingrich? The case appears identical to the Linda Bebko-Jones case. Is the standard different if you are a Democrat?

That Santorum has endorsed him…..speaks volumes.

Mauree is having a party again

I think he may be trying to "reconnect" with PA voters as he eyes a possible presidential run in 2012.

I agree with Dolley. The fact that he endorses makes me want to run for the hills.

Dolly and Atticus….YES. Mauree Gingrich forged several people's signatures on her nominating petitions, then signed the affidavit affixed to that nominating petition certifying that the signatures were obtained legally. So she is guilty not only of forgery, but false swearing. She should have been thrown off the ballot by elections officials, and she should be tossed in jail by Corbett. That is EXACTLY what happened to Linda Bebko Jones.

And what does this teach us about TC's true character? There are about three of us who have examined the evidence, read the hearing transcript, understand that not all evidence was available to the civil trial court, and read the expert opinion. The political calculus says he can safely ignore Gingrich if he distracts with other indictments. I suspect I know how this bit of political theater will end: The masses will be misled and the machine will have safely placed their boy in the Gov's mansion.

Rick Santorum is old news. He was beaten so badly that any endorsement he makes should be viewed with great skepticism. If Corbett wins the GOP nomination, Jack Wagner is going to beat him outright for governor. Wagner is pro-gun, pro-life, and he's not anybody's boy. He's had a record of independence, has stood up to the pro-abortionists, and is someone who will listen to all sides of an argument. Go Jack!

That would be the same Santorum who endorsed Specter over Toomey, right? He has lost my respect.

I'm surprised at the length of this thread. It's hard to see how Rick Santorum is anything other than politically irrelevant.
