The Lt. Governor candidates are not supposed to make public announcements until their nine month fact-finding tour of Pennsylvania has concluded. According to Billy Perkins, the 600 pound Lt. Gov. candidate running to "defend the victims of obesity", rules have been broken. "All of us pledged not to talk to anyone about anything until we'd visited every political entity in the State.", he explained, adding that the thinner candidates, who, with entourages of flunkies and hacks, fill the two huge Greyhounds careening across Pennsylvania and have more chances to "cheat".
"It's not fair that I couldn't get off the bus to issue my own press release kissing up to Mr. Corbett simply because I am such a victim of obesity that I can't get through the bus's door. Cawley has broken his word and disrespected the victims of obesity everywhere. Voters will remember." he added, ominously.

The Aichele law firm (hubby's ) (Saul Ewing) was bond counsel to Septa (Philly unionized mass transit) on a Bond issue relying on the 25% turnpike toll increase. The raid on highway drivers to fund bloated union mass transit giveaways probably paid for the Septa unions give away contract as well. Aichele hubby's partner Tim Carson is Vice Chairman of the Turnpike Commission (currently under investigation (turnpike commission that is) and press reports indicate the Turnpike has a prosecutor directive to preserve records related to Saul Ewing (the Aichele law firm) The turnpike continues to seek tolls on I-80. More pinstripe patronage to be made in fleecing drivers pockets I guess The Aichele law firm was also bond counsel to the Philly Convention Center where slots revenue went instead of to more property tax relief. Then there is Marcellus Shale Cawley is terrific by comparison!

Didn't Tim Carson just host a fundraiser for Corbett? Look, Aichele is a joke but how can Cawley be taken seriously as a candidate when the person he is trying to help raise money for is taking it from one of his opponents? If he wants to get serious, he needs to grow a backbone and run on his record, not try to kiss up to Corbett. But then again, kissing up to Corbett is the best way to avoid being the focus of an investigation.
So the Aichele law firm (Saul Ewing) has two contestants? Who will stop the rape of motorists by tolls from the turnpike and I-80 being diverted to fund Philly and Pittsburgh mass transit and sports/convention arenas?

As I have repeatedly posted here and elsewhere, Carole Aichele is unacceptable to any conservative reformer. She is part of the Earmarking Establishment Insider Chester County Republican Network of people getting rich from government. Carole Aichele is well known to activists as being a Big Government Republican, not Limited Government because Big Government helps her and her network get rich. Clear enough?
