She campaigned on it, so it isn't a surprise.
The surprising thing is that she somehow gets magically lumped into the "blue dog democrats" since she's pro-life. The reporter must have missed that she's voting for one of the largest expansions of government in history…one that plunges the US into socialism.
Mark my words: Dahlkemper is electoral history. She will lose. The GOP candidate will carry large enough margins in Mercer, Butler, Crawford, and Butler counties to overcome the statist-friendly confines of Erie.
The "danger" – if there really is any – is that Mercer County has been trending blue for a long time. There are enough of the blue dog labor types in the Shenango Valley to help boost any candidate. Obviously, The Herald will do their best to paint Dahlkemper in the best light, every time.
It's getting rural conservatives across the entire district to the polls that matters…
