Because it’s a profoundly bad idea for which citizens and businesses can lay at the feet of Ed Rendell, House Dems and Joe Scarnati.
Why not actually fund the infrastructure instead of spending on a lot of these BS social programs that are both unconstitutional and and economic boondoggle? If we have to "tighten our belts" as the Dear Leader would say, then the states need to do the same. Legislation to eliminate the Turnpike Commission and roll into PennDOT was reported. Candidates for office are popping up quicker than weeds. Why aren't we hearing from them Corbett, Roher, Wagner, Ornato, Williams,Saidel, R's casting call for LT. Governor, House all up for election, Senate half up. We should demand an answer/position on this from each and everyone of them , Forget the beauty contest – where do they stand on this issue which I bet 80% of the citizenry supports
