Specter beats Sestak by 10%. With the rematch on, Toomey emerges victorious in November. Let's do it!

It will be Specter v Toomey round 2. The outcome in 2010 will be different :)

Lets not get to over confident, Spector will marshall the union forces and their big pocket books. They really do not like him, but then Ed Rendell is busy ..

How is it that there are 425 Ds in a poll of 1000 voters? This is a reverse proportion to actual registration and voting habits.

It is then weighted to reflect voting habits and expected turnout…nice try though random Specter staffer

Yeah, I agree. I think between Obama not being the 'messiah' he cast himself as and Specter growing increasingly senile, this election is quickly becoming one for Toomey to lose.

That said, Toomey must NOT get soft. He needs to stay on message: lower taxes, less government, state sovereignty. Winning issues all.

Paul Powers is right. Those hoping to defeat Specter or Sestak in November cannot afford to be overconfident. Nine months is an eternity in politics and much can change. Obama is already starting to try and shed his "My Way or the Highway" style of trying to govern.

PA is majority Democratic in registration and the Democratic candidate will have the Rendell and Philadelphia machines behind their candidate.

Toomey needs to run an inspirational campaign which will appeal to moderate and conservative Republicans, Independents and conservative Democrats.

Corbett could be showing weak in a primary. The Q poll had him around 35 percent. Rasmussen is very much part of the establishment and that could be a possibility.

Avoiding? Rasmussen frequently polls difference races at different times in the same state.

Corbett weak? Rasmussen has avoided publishing his Pa gov polls for two monthly cycles now … in every other state, he releases competitive Senate and Gov numbers for each state within a day. The last Pa. Gov poll released was Dec. but we have had two Sen releases since then. I am suspicious that Rasmussen is protecting Corbett before the Pa GOP weekend endorsement.
